My passion for all things relating to bait and bait making started way back in the late 80s early 90s, I can remember making bait with my dad in his kitchen well into the night, as he liked to make it as fresh as possible before a fishing trip, and taking trips to see the guys at premier to pick up our aminos and peach n pepper flavour combo (everyone went to prem in those days).

That ethos of using everything as fresh as possible and utilising the best ingredients has stayed with me to this day, that's why all my flavours are custom-made, (not off the shelf or old products) and made by the very best in the business, the same goes for our powders, feeding stimulators, digest aids, vitamins, aminos and keytone powders.   

Over the last 25 years I've quietly been supplying bait to friends and friends of friends, so whilst the company name Max Attract Baits may be reasonably new the history of it is far from it!

During that time I have worked with some great names in the industry, and I still work with some of the finest flavourists, bait makers, food scientists and those that verge on insanity such as their passion and knowledge of carp foods.

The decision to take what's been an underground hobby/passion for years and push into an already flooded market was not an easy one, people's relationship with bait leaves me frustrated at times it's almost the last part of the jigsaw for many, putting top quality rods, reels and bivvies, etc.. over the NEED for a quality bait.

I have always said "cheap bait is not good, and good bait is not cheap". It's a mindset change to put bait as the very first piece of the jigsaw, something that will really help anglers, just like those using our products already and reaping the rewards.

If you're an angler that truly cares for the welfare of the fish and wants to increase your catch rates, then I truly believe this is where we are ahead of the game.
