The obsession began trotting a stick float down the river Wharf for chub, this soon saw me into the matches and onto the commercials. An inquisitive mind, and a passion for the technical side of fishing, threw me into the world of carp. And here we are, no passion lost 20 years later.

I started fishing at 8 with my dad on the local river, and my passion has only grown since. From pike and rivers to chasing carp in the UK and Europe, I’ve built my own style and experience along the way. Now I’m proud to represent Max Attract Baits, exploring new waters and sharing the journey.

I first got into fishing at nine after moving to Southampton, spending most days sea fishing on the beach. At 25 I moved to Newbury, joined a local club, and that’s where my carp addiction began. I still love fishing old waters and chasing gnarly, characterful carp.

I started sea fishing at 7 with my father, moved to match fishing as a teen, and began carp fishing at 15. After moving to Plymouth, I returned to sea angling before joining a syndicate, I now travel abroad for carp, making great friends along the way.

I started fishing at 6 with my dad, then joined competitions and won the Anglers Mail County Championships. Switching to carp fishing 8 years ago, targeting tricky waters using Max Attract baits with faultless confidence.
